ST. LOUIS - Harold L. Donnell, Field Operations Supervisor for GCI Security, Inc. was honored on Tuesday by the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department for his arrest of Carlton Warner, a 37-year old St. Louis man charged with allegedly attacking a jogger in the Central West End.

According to St. Louis Police, the Central West End attack happened on the afternoon of Thursday, September 28 near N. Newstead and Laclede avenues. The victim, a woman in her 30s, said she was approached by Warner while jogging and punched in the face. She suffered a black eye as a result of the attack.

Donnell met with St. Louis Police Captain Michael J. Mueller and was awarded with the Department Award of Excellence for exceptional performance of his duties.

Warner was charged with third-degree assault following the arrest.
